As we understand, crochet is the only needle art that has not been able to be duplicated by machines. You can buy a sewing machine that can duplicate many embroidery and cross stitch patterns-perhaps better than we can; you can buy a knitting machine that mimics hand-knit items to perfection. But, as far as we know, crochet machines don't exist, (we've checked). So. . . what's the big deal about that? To us, it means that each crocheted item you make and gift is unique and literally, one-of-a-kind.
