Product Review for Crochet Threads
It's important to know how your project will look when it's finished. We like to use all of these crochet threads, and have used them in different projects. Here's some information you might find useful when trying to choose which crochet thread to use for your project.
Omega Crochet Thread: We like this thread, it is mercerized*, and 100% cotton, color fast. Each ball has 30gms, which is plenty to go around your blankets three times. The colors are bright and clean, with a bit of luster to it, which we like. Also, the quality is a bit better than the DMC Traditions thread. The colors also go well with our baby blankets. Mid-range pricing.
DMC Traditions Crochet Thread: This thread is very nice, the colors are pleasing and they go well with our baby blankets. We have used it on several of our projects; the quality is however, not as good as that of the Omega Brand and the DMC Cebelia. It is priced very nicely and it will do a good job for your project.
DMC Cebelia Crochet Thread: The finest Crochet Cotton! We have to say that after working with this thread, the only thing we can add is, this is the finest Crochet thread, our project looked beautiful with a shiny, smooth edge. We love it!
*Process of treating thread or fabric to strengthen it, give it a silky lustre and make it more receptive to dyes.
